Faith is the cornerstone of our church. It is part of every activity that we do, every meeting that we hold. We believe in our Lord, and that our actions are a reflection of his goodness.
Scripture
We look to the Lord for guidance in our lives. In Scripture, we find all that we need to guide us in the right path. Reading and understanding Scripture helps us all live meaningful lives.
Community
Join us. We welcome each and every one of you to encounter the Lord's unconditional love with us. Inside each of us is a purpose and meaning to be fulfilled by God.
About Our Church
Here at the Groton-New London Church, we try to keep our focus positive, simple and Christ-centered. We are a diverse family of believers, united in our desire to believe in and follow Christ and his word. As dedicated disciples of Christ, we’re committed to trust Jesus as our Savior and submit to him as the Lord of our life. Our desire is to be non-denominational Christians. We want our church to maintain a simple focus on the good news of God’s grace, not on traditional human creeds. We cooperate with the International Churches of Christ, but we extend an open-hearted welcome to people of all churches (or folks with no church) to join us in learning about and worshipping our Creator.
Who We Are
When you visit, you will notice we have folks of all ages, races and backgrounds. In addition to our active members, you’ll always see a number of visitors – white collar, blue collar, and no collar. Despite our diversity, there’s always a vibrant energy and a spirit of love in our fellowship. We are a church community that is involved in close, “one another” relationships (John 13:34-35). We want to reflect Jesus’ love for all people.
